After extracting oil from Azadirachta indica seeds, the leftover material can be processed into a soil amendment that protects plants from disease while also enhancing soil nutrients. Apply the solution straight to the soil around your plants, or filter it and use as a foliar spray. Once the solution has been created, make sure you utilize it all. Row Crops/Acreage: Depending on crop needs, apply 200-400 pounds per acre. For best results, mix into soil 2-3 weeks before planting. Shrubs and Trees: 1 kg per 1 inch of trunk diameter should be spread around the base outwards to the drip line, mixed into the soil surface, then water in well. Prepare a transplant hole for new trees and fill it with 1-2 cups of back fill soil. Fill up around the new tree with enriched soil and water it well. To prepare new vegetable gardens and flower beds: Add 2.5 kg per 100 square feet and thoroughly mix into the top 3′′ of soil.Add 1-2 tbsp. per hole for new transplants, mix into soil, and water thoroughly.
