DoCast or Screen Mirroring for Fire TV

I went through something really similar when I was trying to show a group project on the big screen at home — nothing fancy, just Google Slides and a few YouTube clips. The free tools I tried either butchered the resolution or didn’t pick up audio at all. After some trial and error, I stumbled across a comparison of DoCast vs Screen Mirroring・Smart View TV, and it honestly helped a lot. I ended up going with DoCast because I needed something that wouldn’t freeze up halfway through or make me dig through weird settings just to get started. It synced with my Fire TV in under a minute and didn’t choke when I played back videos. I’ve used it now for casual streaming, sharing vacation pics, and even a live Zoom meeting, and it handled all of them pretty well. What sold me was the minimal lag — not totally perfect, but way better than what I was dealing with before. If you’re mostly casting things with motion or audio, I’d say skip the basic screen mirroring stuff and go with something that’s built for smoother handling. It saved me a bunch of frustration.
