Has anyone else been getting calls from “George L. Cohn Attorney at Law”?

I’ve been getting repeated calls from someone identifying as George L. Cohn, Attorney at Law, about a debt I don’t fully recognize. At first I thought it might be a legitimate law firm, but after looking into it, I found out that the attorney’s license with the California State Bar is actually listed as inactive. That raised a red flag for me.

The caller was pretty aggressive and mentioned things like legal action and liens, but I haven’t received any written validation of the debt yet. I’m starting to wonder if this is a real collection law firm or just a scare tactic. I also saw online that the address for this firm is in Redondo Beach, CA, but their contact methods feel very pushy.

Has anyone else dealt with this specific firm? Should I request a debt validation letter and ignore their calls until then? Any advice is appreciated.
