How to quickly check FAB salary card balance while working on the farm without internet?

Hi everyone,

This might be a bit of an off topic question but I thought some people here might have faced the same situation. I am currently working on a small farming project in the UAE and most of our payments for supplies and labor come through a FAB salary card. The problem is that we spend most of the day out in the fields or at the livestock area where there is very poor internet signal, so opening the mobile banking app is not reliable.

Many times I go to buy feed, seeds or diesel and I am not fully sure about the remaining balance on the card. It gets awkward at the shop counter if the payment fails. I would prefer a simple way to check the balance quickly using SMS or an ATM instead of the app.

Does anyone here who uses FAB know the correct method to check the balance by SMS or from any ATM machine? I tried searching online but found mixed information and nothing very clear.
