Is it a bad idea to do individual lashes on your own?

ugh im literally so close to buying a kit on tiktok but my sister keeps telling me im gonna blind myself or glue my eyelids together... has anyone actually messed up their eyes doing this at home or is she just trying to scare me?? 

your sister is just overreacting lol. as long as you don't use industrial superglue it is perfectly safe. it just takes some patience on your first try... my only advice is to get good tweezers and watch a few tutorials before you start. 

tbh it is only a bad idea if u buy sketchy cheap kits. some brands use heavy plastic hairs that break your natural lashes. i always use professional clusters instead. these ones are amazing https://stacylash.com/collections/individual-eyelash-extensions because they weigh absolutely nothing. even if you mess up the placement they wont hurt your eyelids.
