Need Advice on John Deere Windshield Replacement

I’m looking to replace the John Deere windshield on my tractor after it cracked during fieldwork. I’m considering both OEM and aftermarket options but want something that offers durability and clear visibility in all conditions.

Has anyone here replaced a John Deere windshield recently? I’d love to hear your thoughts on cost, fit, and ease of installation. Is it worth going DIY or better to hire a pro? Any recommendations for reliable suppliers would also be appreciated. Trying to get it fixed before the next job.

I replaced the John Deere windshield on my 6430 about six months ago. I went with an aftermarket option from Green Farm Parts—much cheaper than OEM and honestly just as good in terms of clarity and fit. It came pre-drilled and installed easily.
